Part of the Nike Sunburst Pack, the Nike Air Max 97 Sunburst reimagines the retro runner with a multi-colored motif that celebrates one of Nike''s heritage logos. Back in 1972, the company wanted to give its apparel line a symmetrical logo, so graphic designers arranged the now-famous Swoosh trademark in a ''Sunburst'' or ''Pinwheel''. This Nike Air Max 97 Sunburst released on August 28, 2019, and incorporates the throwback symbol on black leather atop its full-length Air-Sole unit.
